Manga Mondays is a weekly meme hosted by Alison Can Read.

This volume is rated T for Teen.

Loki has made it clear that Nakaba  shouldn’t trust Caesar, but Loki tries to get on Caesar’s good side and succeeds.  Prince Caesar appoints Loki as his own personal guard.  Nakaba knows that this could be Caesar’s downfall but she doesn’t tell him.

Caesar’s parents, the King and Queen, want to see Nakaba.  While there, they force Nakaba’s red hair to be black since all rulers only have black hair.  Caesar gives her courage and an idea when all of the sudden he cuts his hair.  Nakaba quickly follows and cuts her own.  A prince is visiting from Lithuanel and learns that Nakaba has the power of the Arcana of Time and wants her to help him.

Nakaba isn’t really sure what to do.  As she gets closer to Caesar, Loki pushes her further away.    Can Nakaba find her home in Caesar’s arms?

With each volume, this manga gets more complex.  There are several revelations in this volume that I can’t wait to see wait happens in the next volume.  I still care about Loki, but Caesar is definitely going to be my pick for a while.  I’m interested in seeing how the prince of Lithuanel will play in the other volumes.  I’m not used to so many dimensions in my manga, but in this series it’s definitely needed.

Caesar and Nakaba have several great moments in this book.  I love how much Caesar is trying to show Nakaba that he cares.  I hate that Loki is slightly pushing Nakaba away.  I’m not for sure if it’s because of Loki’s agenda or what, but I can’t wait to read the next volume.
